Overview
"The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks"—the message embedded in Bitcoin's genesis block set the tone for CHNCLR's entire brand. They came to us with a vision: transform any disagreement into a settleable dispute with skin in the game, all without trusted third parties.
We developed a custom visual identity inspired by censorship resistance—mixed typography that evokes subversion while maintaining technical credibility in the Bitcoin space. The "ransom letter" aesthetic became the cornerstone of their brand, communicating rebellion against traditional financial intermediaries.
From personal disputes to oracle-based betting, we mapped the complete ecosystem of trustless escrow applications and crafted clear narratives for each audience segment: Bitcoin natives, sovereignty seekers, and emerging markets.

Technical Foundation
The landing experience we built showcases CHNCLR's technical foundation: PSBTs (BIP174), P2WSH multisig, and NIP-04 encrypted communication over Nostr. Every design decision reinforced the protocol's core value proposition—financial agreements without permission.
We integrated hardware wallet support and designed the user journey to onboard both technical Bitcoiners and newcomers to self-custody. The conversion-focused architecture guides visitors through the protocol's capabilities while building trust in its technical soundness.
